Ibishu - History

Ibishu was originally founded in 1882 by Otikashu Ibishu and was a parts company, Ibishu started rivalling Hirochi in piano parts but later moved on to bicycles.

It was not until 1951 when Ibishu made their first car, this car didn't have a name and was a prototype, but entered the streets, it was later followed by the early models of the Miramar and later early models of the Pessima, Ibishu grew success in the 60's with their Miramar which severely competed with the American cars of the time, Ibishu went on to compete with Hirochi with the early models of the Sunburst but later built a car together called the Hirochi Faith and then Hirochi made an Ibishu car called the Ibishu Pessima sport.
